What it is

Instead of editing server configuration, the client picks from fixed options on each site: redirects, error pages, index listing, upload size, hotlink protection, IP blocking, HTTP to HTTPS, HSTS and password-protected directories. The panel renders the same behaviour for Apache, nginx and OpenLiteSpeed.

What it is for

Common server tweaks that are safe for a shared node.

Limits

HTTPS redirect and HSTS are on by default (the plan sets the default, the client can change it per site) and HSTS is only sent on sites with a valid certificate. Password-protected directories use SHA-512 hashes stored outside the web root. .htaccess works with full overrides on Apache. Raw server directives are an admin-granted permission that is off by default, because it is equivalent to root on the node.
