What it is
A container is one more site of the account whose backend is not PHP. You choose a preset (ASP.NET Core, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java) with the official image, port and volume pre-filled, or name an image. It runs under the account's own user inside its resource slice.
What it is for
Hosting Node, Python, Ruby, Java or .NET applications, and any image, next to PHP sites.
Limits
Needs a License to create new ones; existing containers keep running if the license lapses, and removing is never blocked. Each container gets a loopback-only port from 33000 up and is reached through its subdomain on 443. Counts against the plan and disk quota, stops when the account is suspended and returns after a reboot. A Kubernetes manifest can be deployed through the API; there is no screen yet.
