What it is

The panel clones the repository into a work directory outside the web root and publishes it to the site's document root without the .git directory. Private repositories use an access token, stored encrypted.

What it is for

Publishing a site from its repository without giving anyone SSH access.

Limits

Only HTTPS URLs are accepted; SSH and git:// are not. Submodules are not followed. The clone runs as the client, inside its disk quota and resource limits.
