Remote database access
The admin sets the node policy: closed, open to all, or only to IP addresses each client registers.

What it is
By default MariaDB and PostgreSQL are not reachable from outside. With the third policy, clients register the addresses allowed to connect and the panel limits both the firewall and the MySQL grants to them.
What it is for
Letting a customer's office or application server connect straight to its database.
Limits
It is an explicit admin decision per node and the databases ports are not opened by default. Two independent controls apply (firewall and host-limited grants), so removing a firewall rule alone does not expose the database.
