How to monitor a node with Prometheus and Grafana

Create the metrics token for your own Prometheus, or install the built-in Prometheus and Grafana stack with a License.

Use your own Prometheus (free)

1. Open Server, Metrics and generate the bearer token. It is shown once.
2. Point your Prometheus at https://<host>:2087/metricas sending Authorization: Bearer <token>. Without a token the path returns 404.
3. You get the node's metrics and each client's CPU, memory, IO and throttling, service state and counters. There are no per-site series.

Use the built-in stack (needs a License)

1. Open Server, Metrics stack and install it. Prometheus and Grafana are installed on the node.
2. Open Grafana through the panel, as an admin; it has no separate login.
3. In a cluster each node runs its own pair and scrapes the others, so every node holds the data of the whole cluster.

Rotate or remove the token in Server, Metrics at any time.
