How to apply a license and check its status
Paste your license identifier in Panel, License, let the node validate it, and see the plan and the date it was last checked.
A License is per node and is tied to the node's public IP as the license server sees it. The Free tier needs nothing.
Steps
- Obtain the license identifier through the channel you received the software from (the online store is coming soon).
- In the admin interface open Panel, License.
- Paste the identifier and save. It is stored encrypted on the node.
- Wait for the first validation. The page shows the plan and the date it was last checked.
- For a cluster, load a Multinode license once on the master; every other node still needs its own License.
How it keeps working
- The node checks in once a day. If it cannot connect it retries every hour for 48 hours, and the panel warns from the first failed contact.
- The permit is signed by the provider and the node only holds the public key, so a fake license server cannot grant anything.
- Nodes behind a shared public IP use a cluster license with one slot per node; each slot is a license you pay for.
FAQ
I changed the node's IP. What now?
Moving a node to a new IP is a normal operation and is meant to be self-service and rate-limited. That flow lives in the customer area, which is coming soon.
