What it is
The node can serve DNS for its clients with BIND (authoritative only, no recursion). Record types are A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS and CAA, all validated; long TXT values such as DKIM keys are split correctly.
What it is for
Managing zones next to the sites and mail they belong to, so SPF, DKIM, DMARC and certificate validation can be published automatically.
Limits
Targets without a trailing dot are rejected because they silently become name.zone.zone. A zone cannot be created inside another client's domain tree. DNSSEC is per zone and the panel shows the DS record for the registrar. PTR can only be published if the IP provider delegates the reverse zone to this node.
